This renovation completely transformed the kitchen, pantry, dining room, and fireplace, with the kitchen serving as the heart of the project. Custom cabinetry pairs warm taupe-painted finishes with a rich dark stain, creating contrast while maintaining a timeless, collected feel. Dark-stained glass cabinetry flanking the range is layered with woven counter stools in a similar tone, carrying warmth throughout the space.

At the center, a 12-foot island topped with marble creates a natural gathering place, while the same marble continues onto the backsplash for a seamless, elevated look. A custom drywall hood introduces a subtle arch and focal point above the range, while an ogee countertop edge brings a more traditional, sophisticated detail to the stone. Unlacquered brass plumbing fixtures and brass-and-taupe pendant lighting add warmth and character, completing a kitchen that feels refined, layered, and made to age beautifully.
