North Liberty, Iowa
This mudroom renovation, taken on early in my career, reflects my aesthetic beautifully, though it's a bit smaller scale than we normally take on now. Originally featuring a color-saturated locker system with a hidden door to storage, the space was reimagined for improved functionality after the family of five found it wasn't meeting their needs. We rotated the floor plan, removed the existing lockers, and added a pocket door to create accessible storage for everything from pool supplies to gardening tools. The final design incorporates three distinct paint colors, allowing the space to flow together harmoniously without feeling overly coordinated.
